.....Welcome to the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Our collection is more than 30 years old and is the only botanical garden in the state located on a coastal dune system featuring native Hawaiian coastal and dry forest plants. Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is a non-profit organization working in partnership with the County of Maui, the Office of Economic Development, and the Maui Board of Water Supply.
.....Throughout the Gardens we have incorporated many xeriscaping (water conservation) techniques including drip irrigation systems and mulching. The plants located here are adapted to low rainfall and are becoming increasingly popular in local landscapes.
.....Maui Nui Botanical Gardens supports many conservation efforts through the propagation of endangered species. To support this effort, it is prohibited to pick or take any flowers, fruits, leaves or any plant parts.
